What We do?

Pooling Collective Wisdom of India to bring about Positive Change

Main Objective of this organization is to identify those students who are financially challenged, and potential drop-outs, and help them through well defined high impact and efficient projects in a regular, transparent, and professional manner. IWF has proposed several educational projects in India, for meritorious as well as for non-meritorious students. Some of these projects are already functioning and they will be brought under the IWF umbrella, such as "Aligarh Project" and "Coaching Centers" in Bihar and UP.

A few projects are still non-functional, and we all have to work to make them functional, such as; Alumni Center, Education Fund, Talent Bank etc etc. Read More.

Why We stress on Quality Education only?

Sachar committee reported that a high percentage of underpriviledged children do not enroll in an educational institution. Government keeps on opening new schools, and expanding the existing ones to make it easier for the children to reach a school conveniently.

Mid-day meal scheme was started under Education for All or Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan of the Central government, to raise the enrolment levels. In Bihar, the government provides bicycles to all the girl students. If all this investment by government cannot raise the enrolment levels, it is a shame for us individuals, community or social groups, and the NGOs. We must not remain a mute witness to the failure of these government initiatives; we need to act. Click here to know of our initiatives, and join hands with us.
